Yer 11 students visited New College Durham to look around the facilities, meet the staff and find out about the wonderful courses are available. Pupils looked at car maintenance, engineering courses, plumbing and electrical courses, sports, hair and beauty, ICT, Painting and decorating and learning support.
On Tuesday some Year 11 students visited East Durham College at Houghall campus to have a taster day and look at the courses and facilities they offer. Pupils heard about foundation, animal care, equine, dog grooming and farming courses that the college has for young people.
