Hold the front page!

Rowan class held a press conference today. They thought of questions they needed to ask for their newspaper report, to ensure their readers got the information necessary. Luckily we had a member of the class who had seen the events unfold there to answer all their questions.  

Mental health champions

Last week secondary pupil voice students met with professionals to become mental health champions to support peers surrounding social and emotional problems. Students identified barriers to learning and happiness and discussed solutions and strategies to combat negative emotions. Fantastic work.

Senses Experiment

Hazel class today continued learning about the human body, focusing on their senses.   Pupils had to make predictions about what they could smell in each cup. They also had to smell the playdough and guess the scent. Pupils fell into the trap of using their sense of sight to make predictions instead of smell.…
