Myth of the month ‘T Levels are not as difficult as A levels…’ |
|
|
T Levels are every bit as rigorous as A levels! One T Level has roughly the same teaching time of three A levels – and carries the same number of UCAS tariff points. T Levels also include an industry placement with an employer, so students also get vital experience of the workplace in addition to their time in the classroom. Advice for your students on GCSE Results Day |
|
|
If your students require any further advice about their options on results day, please refer them to the National Careers Service who have lots of information to help them to explore their education and training choices, including T Levels. Wherever your students are with their decisions, you can call an adviser on 0800 100 900. |
|
|
On the first ever T Level results day (18th August), 1,029 students were awarded results for the first wave of T Level subjects, started in Sept 2020: Education and Childcare; Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction, and Digital Production, Design and Development. The overall Pass rate for these learners in 2022 is 92.2% and full results have been published here.

National T Levels Week 2022 |
|
|
National T Levels Week will be held from the 10th – 14th October 2022. There are plenty of ways that you will be able to get involved, including, by • sharing information with your students, parents and teachers through classroom activities, case studies and resources.
More details will follow at the beginning of September. |

T Level celebration week was held from the 4th – 8th July 2022 and was a huge success!

New Secretary of State for Education supports T Levels |
|
|
On Tuesday 19th July, James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Education met with a range of T Levels providers, students and other stakeholders to celebrate the achievements of the first cohort. He spoke about how the first students are at the vanguard of the technical education reforms, he also mentioned the importance of T Levels for employers. |

Who can deliver T Levels? |
|
|
Did you know that DfE has now extended eligibility to deliver T Levels in 2023, by allowing providers with a Requires Improvement Ofsted or with no formal Ofsted designation to deliver more T Level courses in 2023? This change will allow a number of providers previously unable to deliver some T Levels in 2023 to offer them. To read more about this change click here. |
