P3 talk about what it means to be a good friend

P3 spent the morning talking about what makes them a good friend.

We drew around our friends and thought about lots of different ways we can be a good friend, writing our ideas down and sharing them as a group.

“sharing”  “kind hands and feet”  “listening”   “personal space”

“no teasing”,   “including others”,   “respect”  “listening to others opinions”

After this we spoke about what bullying is.

“Bullying means being unkind to people.”

“Calling someone names, hitting them.”

We discussed and answered the following questions, listening to each others ideas and taking it in turns.

  • Verbal ways to bully,
  • Emotional ways to bully,
  • Physical ways to bully,
  • What might someone being bullied think?
  • How might someone being bullied feel?
  • How might someone being bullied act?
  • What should we do if we see someone being bullied?

P3 are working hard to be  good friends.
