We were delighted to welcome Mrs Buddin and her baby Harry into class this afternoon. The children were wonderful around Harry, very gentle and caring in their approach. They couldn’t believe how cute he was. We cant wait to see Harry again and find out how much he has changed.
The children in P2 are loving our “Busy Bags”. These are independent learning task packs that children can access once they finished their main activity. They are designed to help them practise key skills and become more resilient as learners.
P2 have had an amazing time this week. We have researched different types of puppet then made our own. In small groups, children have written and produced their own puppet shows. Video footage to follow.
Fantastic afternoon at multi sports! Yet again the children of Croft Community School shone. They worked well together, took part in all the activities to the best of the abilities and had a ball. Lots of smiles and cheers all round.
To celebrate our diverse and unique school, children in P2 have been learning about Downs Syndrome. We decorated our own odd socks and watched an animation which promoted how amazing our differences can be.
We are super proud of all the children in P2 who have produced amazing information leaflets about plastic pollution. They have done a lot research, watching documentary and news footage, looking at photographs and reading information regarding the issue. P2 have had an amazing day supporting Comic Relief! We have worked as a team to complete the challenges Miss Herkes had set us. We’ve danced, hunted for hidden treasure and conquered mountains, climbing to victory. They even managed to save me from a fall.
We had an amazing time celebrating World Book Day. P2 invited parents to join the festivities. We read together and used a range of materials to create pictures of our favourite characters. We even took part in a book swap, exchanging books we had read with other children in primary.
