As a school we would like our pupils to enter ‘Croft’s Got Talent’ and pick a category to compete in. Enter by sending a picture or video of you completing the activity via Dojo’s, TEAMS or Email to your class staff. We will reply once you have submitted your entry and prizes will be awarded once we return to school.
If you don’t want to enter we would like you to do something that makes you smile 😊 something you enjoy away from the screen.
We would also like to see staff get involved and showcase the many different talents they have to offer. Upload anything you would like to share.

Hazel class were learning about Captain Sir Tom Moore this term, we were planning on doing some fundraising just like Captain Tom. We have decided that when we return to school we will discuss fundraising ideas and set ourselves a little enterprise project.
For now Miss Robson read a story about Captain Tom to Hazel Class.
Pupils then created these Captain Sir Tom pictures.
We will update you with our enterprise work soon.

We work flexibly – so while it suits me to email now, please be assured that I do not expect a response or action outside of your own working hours.
Last week we made stuffed peppers for food technology. We were given a recipe list, an equipment list and followed a step-by-step guide on YouTube. The peppers were so yummy and so fun to make; why don’t you give it a go and make your own peppers?
Some of the pupil’s in 80 have been demonstrating using their personal and practical life skills as well as home learning. We are extremely proud of how mature they are and how they are preparing for adulthood (PFA) and increasing their independence. Also with the support of their parents they have embedded learning and put their knowledge from their Food Tech lesson into a practical real life situation and safely and hygiencally made themselves a sandwich, a cuppa and even helped with domestic duties. Well done Oliver, Szymon, Taylor and Bobby. You’s are all super stars.
As part of Children’s Mental Health week the children in Birch have been taking part in Mindfulness activities such as drawing, going for sense walks and writing things that they are grateful for. Other activities that Birch have been doing is creating postcards and sending them to family and friends and decluttering by tidying and sorting out old clothes and toys, giving them to charities.
Some of the Year 11’s who are in school this week have been working on their Art work. The students have been able to pick their own topics/themes to work on and have created mood boards for this. We have topics such as Marvel Superheroes, Cars, Star Wars and The Vampire Diaries. Nathan, Liam and Cameron have been busy working with tissue paper to recreate some of the pictures from their mood boards. As you can see, they have produced some fantastic work so far and we’re all super proud of their efforts! Can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!!
