Hazel class 100 challenge!
Sir Captain Tom Moore’s family have set the 100 challenge.
Hazel class have decided for their challenge to read 100 books by the end of April.
Pupils will be reading books both in school and at home and we will be keeping count in class.
What 100 challenge are you doing?
Reward Day Fun in Birch
What a fantastic way to end our term…we could not have added more fun if we tried!
As a celebration of all of our hard work and effort we had a movie party, we went on an egg hunt (where we were joined by a very large bird) we ate ice lollies and all went home with an Easter egg!
Have a wonderful Easter everyone!
Rewards Day Glass Star Making
Today our home learning stars from each class had the opportunity to design their own glass star decoration as a keepsake to remind them of their home learning success this term. Pupils got to choose the colours they wanted to include in their star and also learnt about the glass fusing process. Due to the nature of the process and the high temperatures involved the stars will need to cool over the Easter holidays and then they will be able to go home.
11V End of Term Treat
11V have had a fantastic return to school after lockdown. We are so proud of how they have adapted to coming into school and being present in every lesson. As a reward for their amazing behaviour and attitudes, they have had the afternoon off to watch School of Rock and enjoy movie snacks. We’re so proud of you 11V!!!
Hazel Class Easter Enterprise
Hazel Class made some Easter Bunnies to sell.
They worked really hard creating them and raised an amazing £40.
We also made cheesecake Easter eggs.
We raised £93 selling the cheesecakes.
In total we raised an amazing £133, the money will now be used as a start up for the summer enterprise.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and an extra special thank you to Mrs Convery for organising it all.
Red Nose Day 2021
Primary took part in a relay competition for the 2021 Red Nose Day, inspired by the One Show’s Big Red Nose Egg and Spoon race. We did this
for 30 minutes and everyone tried their very best.
