During Science today in Rowan the children have been learning all about the skeleton and how our bones and parts of the body help us. Once we identified the different parts of the body and labelled them we then went onto to do an investigation. The investigation was to find out if our femur actually influenced how far we can jump due to the length of our femurs. The conclusion was that it did not make a difference at all.

You have to remove the important internal organs, then add salt and the wrapping begins. In Beech this week, not one Mummy, not two, but THREE child size Mummies were created in an afternoon of fun and learning.
Today during Enrichment, we took our fishing group onto the school field to learn and practise different ways to cast. We also had a competition to see who could cast the furthest and land their weight into different targets. Excellent afternoon had by all, and the pupils loved every second.
