Great work P3!
What an exciting time we all had celebrating World Book Day. We loved getting dressed up and sharing our favourite books. We discussed our favourite book characters and enjoyed sharing stories with our parents and carers. We went to a book swap where we exchanged books with each other. We had such a fun day!
P9 visited the Tim Lamb Centre on Monday 11th March. The centre provides specialist leisure provision for 0-25’s with a disability or additional need. Everyone felt so welcome and relaxed, it was such an enjoyable experience that P9 voted it as a 10 out of 10! Pupils accessed outdoor play areas which included small animal areas and outdoor musical instruments. There was also a trampoline and foam pit area, a sensory room, a music room and a teenage zone. If parents or carers are interested in visiting there are leaflets available in school reception, as the centre is open during school holidays and at weekends.
P3 enjoyed dressing up and writing about their favourite characters for world book day.
P3 have been reading ‘The World’s Worst Children’ by David Walliams and some of the characters from the story even made an appearance.
Great afternoon had by all.
